VALLEY GIRL

talkington wrote the remake of the classic 80s movie "valley girl." this version is a jukebox musical using all pop songs from the 80s to tell the 'romeo and juliet' story of a valley girl and a punk from hollywood.

the movie is set to shoot in 2013 with commercial director clay weiner directing for mgm.

"hot fuss" is an original screenplay. talkington sold the pitch to disney in 2011. it was announced february, 2013 that acclaimed broadway director alex timbers is attached to direct the film.

DEEPLY SHALLOW AND REALLY FAKE

"deeply shallow and really fake" follows violet, a smart, anti-establishment, hipster teen who is forced to make her "debut" in the high gloss, high stakes dallas debutante society so that her mother and step-father will pay for college. needless to say, complications arise as she struggles to navigate through the anachronistic world of dallas' high society -- juggling men, manners and jimmy choo mules.
